In the cozy afternoon of Sunday October 12th, Canadian missionaries: one couple, two ladies, a family, and I joined together to the Thanksgiving dinner with the Canadian missionary family who happened to live one floor down in the same building. The autumn Thanksgiving decoration created the homey atmosphere which made me feel like home. We celebrated and gave thanks together. We brought our delicious Thanksgiving dinner to share. I was really full that I had bit too much; apparently my eyes were bigger than my stomach. Then we played Canadian trivia game to get to know more about Canada. Few hours later, unfortunately, the power went out for a bit long while, which was definitely left me out in the dark. Even though they had candles and few flashlights set up; still it was not good for me because it is difficult to lip-read in the dim light. During the game, we had the flashlight shone on someone, so I could see her interpreting the questions and answers during the game. Still not the best, it was alright for a little while, eventually, I left politely. Still, I enjoyed the dinner very much and delicious desserts!!! So much to be thankful for!
