October 8th, at last the school opened. Excited day to see children again! When children arrived at the school, they were so delightful to see and hug each other. On the other hand, some children were shocked happily to see me, some were thrilled to see me again, and some were calmly greeting me in Senegalese way. Interesting to see their reactions yet good seeing them again! If I recalled correctly about 22 students arrived that day and from then on slowly other boys and girls showed up week by week. In the beginning, the teachers could not teach students in their own classroom yet because each class had only between 0 and 4 students. So they gathered older students together with their teachers, while younger students with other teachers to review last year courses and learn few new information together. Until each teacher got more than five or six students, they move to their own classroom. Now we have 86 students! Welcome back old and welcome new kids!
