Since October 2001, I have been a part of RVDC family. Throughout the years, I have enjoyed being involved with the Core Team for Light of Life Deaf Club (LOL) [Deaf Christian Youth program for Deaf, deafened and hard of hearing students], the Silent Praise Choir and I am involved in the Leadership Team, the Worship Team, and the Bible Study. And also I am actively working on multimedia projects. Other than those, especially with praising and signing songs to my Lord; I enjoy worshipping the Lord with unique and beautiful music.
During the summer in 2005, I organized and ran the PAOC National Deaf Conference and delegated work to some of the RVDC members. Many Deaf people from across Canada and few from other countries came to our conference. The conference was successful.
In the month of February 2013 for two weeks, I was part of a team of six individuals who worked at ERS in Senegal, West Africa. Before I accepted to be part of the mission team, I needed to know whether I would be a missions worker. So I decided to take the opportunity to go to Senegal to see what God has been doing at the school and to see how He could use me there. After I experienced the two week's mission, I left “my heart” at the school! I realized God has given me a burden for the people of ERS and desire to return to serve them. I believe God has called me to be the missions worker to the Senegalese people at this time.
Lord willing; I will be going to Senegal this September as Royal View Deaf Church's missions worker for seven months to assist in the work being done at ERS in that city.
